Who's E and what happened to Braham's gf?
Braham’s girlfriend left him for some merchant or something during the aftermath of Flame and Frost. You had to go back to Cragstead afterwards and you’d find Braham there sulking.
As for E, we don’t know who he is at this point, though there’s plenty of theories.

But wasn’t there some intrigue or mystery having to do with Braham’s girlfriend? I seem to recall the people we saved in the Flame and Frost dungeon said some things about her that implied some mystery. That was never addressed again?
Nope, she broke up with him and chased after a merchant or something. You were able to see her in Craigstead after Flame and Frost.
E is like a bad mystery from Lost. It’s so vague with so few clues that it’s pointless speculating about the identity. There is no way to intelligently guess or even rule out people for E’s identity. I think they want you to guess who it is and theorycraft or whatnot but they haven’t built much in the world to get you to care about it. Everything that was wrong with the slow reveal of Scarlet’s plot is being repeated with the non-reveal of E’s identity.
Mr. E seems like something they set up in case they needed it as a hook, but it never went anywhere. Presumably he was supposed to be Evon or Ellen, whoever won the election, but they ended up doing something else, so he was dropped. (or became Majory)
I think E is short for Ed, who is some minor unnamed NPC in the middle of noplace who has played no part in any story so far but will soon be exposed as the brilliant mastermind E.
At one point I was thinking of a certain someone, until I gave myself a Gibbs’ slap when I remembered its Anise, not Enise

Braham’s GF was kinda shallow, so no big loss there. E has yet to be revealed.
