Sooo, I attempted to transfer to a server, says that it is full… Does that mean that unless it becomes un-full it is impossible for me to change servers? I am attempting to move servers because some IRL friends have stated they want me there… Is there any way possible to get to that server? Or am I the forever alone meme?

You can transfer when a server drops in population from ‘full’ to ‘high’ – this usually happens as players log off the game in off-peak hours. It might be a question of setting your alarm clock to check in the middle of the night, but yes, it will be possible for you to move server.

I’m not sure if ANet has implemented the cross-server play for open world PVE yet, but I know for a fact that players from different servers can enjoy delving in the same instanced dungeons.

Meh, more or less wanting to join the “RP” Server so I can join a few friends and such in RP they have been forming up. I would just say “HEY JOIN THIS SINCE YOUR SERVER IS LAAAME!” But… yeah, RP server. :P

i have not seen a server always full 24/7, it will eventually drop from full to high (even jq, sbi and bg drop to high). time varies, it maybe 3:50 am in your location, but maybe most of players at that server are busy at that time.

I was able to transfer in not late at night, but at about noon on a workday, if that’s any help. Best of luck!
