Classes... Classes Everywhere :O !!!
Very simple: Warrior.
in pvp/wvw formats they can stand 1v5 and even more. They have huge damage output and can take a load of damage.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
Okay so warrior at first, and what is the second option?
Well warrior fits your points 100%. On a far distance there are some elementalist builds that get near it. But ele’s will always be squishy compared to warriors and the means to be less squishy will come from the amount of damage dealt.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
Yea but im not really a big fan of the ele`s Attunement switching… IS there any other class that comes close to my points???
For you, I would recommend guardian. They are one of the tankiest professions we have right now.
Think of them as defense oriented Warriors!
Warriors specialize in offensive buffs and Guardians specialize in Defensive Buffs.
Guards also do a surprising amount of damage.
So u mean a Defensive builded Warrior is almost the same as a Offensive builded Warrior?
No, the Warrior profession gives things like Might (More Damage) and Fury (More Critical hits). Guardian gives Protection (you take less damage), Stability (You can’t be stunned), and Retaliation (Everytime they hit you, they get hurt).
Another class you could look into could be Engineer. You might like them because they can do a little bit of everything.
If i use Engi for Roaming and Dungeons… Is it possible to stay on my weapon set or just one kit instead of switching all the time?
And is Guardian also good for bringing some good DMG… And all the other things on the list??? And what are all the classes that are good for the things i named?

If you don’t mind swapping between your weapon set and 1 kit, then you’ll be fine as an Engi. There are plenty of builds for just 1 kit.
Also, you’ve been playing for 10 months. Despite not having an 80 yet (which is perfectly fine), you’ve obviously played quite a bit. Which classes have you tried? You should be able to get a little bit of information from your own experience.

My first character was a Thief played it to 36 and then played some classes to 10 and then a Guardian to 36… But now people are telling me that for Roaming i should pick Thief Warrior or Mesmer… So which one should i choose???
When you say roaming, do you mean roaming in PvE or WvW? Because that makes a big difference to the answer.
You want a warrior. ’Nuf said.
are you kidding, you should be a mesmer! with staff and sword/pistol! they are kittenes!
this is a staff sword/sword build. look at his other builds for the amazing possibilities of mesmer.

I want to do Roaming in WvW… Solo Roaming! Cuz ill manage in PvE =]
So people say Mesmer Thief or Warrior… So can you guys tell me which one is better for what situations in WvW Roaming??? And which one is the best overal
Well, I`m a newbie myself, bought the game last friday. But for your last question, the thing is not in which is best, they all are probably good for wvw, what you should consider probably is how hard it is to handle them. And that would be from ranging from easy to hard: warrior-thief-mesmer. I played only warrior, but it was a lot easier than ranger in wvw…
Are all these 3 classes on the same level for WvW? Or is one better for handling just one target and the other multiple targets?
They say GW2 Is skill based so that would mean all these 3 classes are all on the same level right? Or is there one class that is just Perfect for Solo Roaming in WvW? If yea, Which one
What i meant is…
In what kinf of Situations is Thief better and which one Warrior and which one Mesmer…
And which one is the Best Overal
Most people will probably say Warrior… So maybe im going to roll that one for Solo Roaming… Or is Thief better? I Really cant choose :S

No, no perfect class. Try em all. Figure out which a) you enjoy more and b) which you’re better with. They all have very different styles of combat so you may find that you excel more with one over the others.

Pretty much this. Try warrior as others have said, IMO in any MMO the warrior/bruiser class is always a safe bet.

Yeah, from that question alone, I doubt Engi would be a good choice….you SHOULD be switching weapon kits (and want to for lots of reasons).
Fate is just the weight of circumstances
That’s the way that lady luck dances
Well Then i will roll a Warrior as most people say
Yeah warrior is what you want, guardian come in second.

Sounds like a Mesmer to me.
Any decent roaming build can take on multiple enemies, using active defense, like stealth, teleports and evades. The insane active defense allows us to focus our stats on damage, while we trait for defense.
If you run into a zerg, just equip feedback and nullfield, and you have some vey potent boon/condition stripping + reflection. Theyre usefull in all builds, and doesnt require you to change traits every time you decide to do something :P.
Mesmers also have 2nd best single target dps of all professions, 1st being a thief. The best damage builds use 25 inspiration, which is our most important damage trait in pve, and the support traitline at the same time!
You can een take a dungeon build directly in roaming and still own in 1vsX o.O
If you want, you can forum Pm me or whisper me in game, and ill find some videos for you. I can’t find them right now, cuz I’m on mobile :/.

I can do everything you are asking with any class. Honestly, your very general and not very clear in direction. A build is easily available to bring the damage, and “skill” is what determines the survivability.
As far as your roaming comments, I am assuming you are referring to playing WvW, as you mentioned “zerg” but its hard to say since there are so many champion zergs in open world PvE now. But again, its easily done with every profession, but your ability to kill nyone that crosses your path has nothing to do with the profession but your ability to play it and adapt very quickly to the builds you encounter.
This is why your getting so many “sounds like profession X” responses. Because your list is very none specific.
I can only suggest taking every profession to the mists. Spend an hour or several, with each professions sparing the other profession NPC. Get a feel for the various skills per class. Once you define more towards a class or two, then we can advise you to learn to use it to accomplish your goals.
I would suggest starting with learning the difference between conditions (dots) and direct damage as a starting point. Knowing how you care to deal your damage will eleviate half the build options for you.

I think it depends on your player skill and the way you like to play the game. We can recommend any class but if you are not able to dodge for example than a light armored class will never be fun for you.
I for example take my Necro, Mesmer or Ele when planning on map completions.
I take my Mesmer or Warrior to instances (depending which one and based on group)
I run with my Warrior, Necro or Guardian around in WwW if I even bother.
Probably not the best choices but I chose my character based on “fun” that day.
