Guild Wars 2

Basically I want to farm some corrupted lodestones in frostgorge.. I’m pretty good at farming and grinding, and all I want to do is run my little path, kill everything, then run back and kill as I go. I’ll be killing corrupted quagans and icebrood collossus… That’s it…

What I want to know:

How does DR actually work? What causes you to start getting it?.. How long does it last?.. Can I avoid it by way-pointing to a new location/map? If so, how long will I need to be away from my farming spot?.. Any -known- advice would be amazing. I’ve heard MANY stories of how DR might work, but so far I’ve seen no solid evidence/proof of how all of this works.

I think you just have to experiment, I seem to find different mobs have different DR rates but that could just be bad luck with drops.

Anet seem tight lipped about how it works, I beleive the Wiki says DR resets at 00:00 server time or something but I dont think thats accurate.
