Ex. Do two Sigils of the Night stack?

GW2Wiki has this to offer:

Static bonuses stack with themselves when used on dual-wielded weapons, except for Superior Sigil of Force (only +5% bonus to damage) and Superior Sigil of Accuracy (only +5% bonus to crit chance).

-

I would like to assume that it means the answer is yes, Sigils of the Night stack, but I’ve come across several threads now (on other sites) that seem to suggest otherwise. Is the wiki information still quite accurate? Do two sigils of the night give +20% to all damage at night?

I believe that what they are trying to say is that you can only use different types of static bonuses, for example:

If you use a Sigil of Force on the main hand and an Acurracy one for the off-hand, this 2 sigils won’t stack and you’ll have both the +5% damage and the +5% critical chance.

However, if you are using a Sigil of Force for both the main hand and off-hand, you won’t gain a +10% to damage because sigils that give static bonuses stack with each other.

So in short, I don’t think that 2 Sigils of the night will give you a +20% damage, only 1 will work.

That is a very different interpretation than what I got from the wording. It seemed like if that was implied then the words they used were inappropriate in the wiki.

So consequently, I decided to test the theory out anyway with two Sigils of the Night and it seems that they do indeed stack from the limited testing I did.

(At night) I used Scepter Lightning auto-attack and compared the (total) damage on a practice dummy with a (1) OH Dagger with a second Sigil of the Night, and (2) a Focus without a Sigil of the Night. Both items had the same stats (zerker) to prevent that from influencing the result and the (1) option seems to put out consistently higher damage than (2).

However, I only did this with a sample of 10 full channeled attack per offhand (as I have limited interest in theory crafting) and got bored with it quickly.
