Well since I kind of took a break from GW2 and that huge update rolled in, just wondering what class I should try out. The update apparently added more build diversity, and these two classes seem like the two I’d like a lot. I like to be viable in zergs, but I also like to be able to hold my own alone or with a friend or so.

Are they both pretty balanced? Thanks.

Both meet your requirements.

Necromancers are a bit slower in damage, however they are a whole lot easier to play. Engineers can have more damage and more versatility, but are harder to play.

But I say flip a coin if that doesn’t convince you one way or the other.

I don’t have opinions. I only have facts I can’t adequately prove.

Both are awesome. I have both at 80, and swap a lot between them. I even dished out on their T3 armours, because, well, they’re both awesome.

yea engi is one of the few classes that scale amazingly well with a players actual skill
edit: to clarify they all scale to a degree but engis have a much higher skill cap compared to guardians and warriors
