I’ve started working towards a Legendary Sunrise but with spending so much time enjoying the dungeons and other content it’s hard to get enough things to really make some decent progress with it. So fingers crossed
Hello, I really hope everyone takes something out of this. Knowing there are still kind and caring players around makes me want to keep playing in spite of the rng.
That’s a very kind gesture of you. If you post it for a low price on the market many would turn around and buy it to sell it for double or even triple the price cause that’s how things go.
I would love to see anyone carry a legendary be it Sunrise/Twilight or even them combined for the Eternity one day. To the person that wins and gets to make that weapon. I do ask if you post a screenshot of it while you carry it with pride!
371 hours on two characters and I have been trying for Dawn since the first week of release.
I’ve dropped more than 200 Rare Greatswords in the forge and 24 exotic swords with no avail. I’ve got almost all of the gifts made and just need to do the Karma farm now for the last of it.

My chances at getting Dawn from this are probably better than the chances I would have throwing exotic greatswords into the mystic forge, so why not give it a shot?
Thank you, for doing this! Here is my Sylvari Mesmer, Loor! Though she is not level 80, I cannot think of a better greatsword to fit her look, than Sunrise. Since I’m not good with the market, I’m glad to get a chance here.
Just about to make a post on my frustration on getting a precursor, and I’ve stumbled upon this. Although I know the likeness of me winning is next to zero, ehhh what the heck. I’ll give it a shot.
How’s that song go “Dawn is just a heartbeat away”? Yeah right. Getting Sunrise has felt so impossible to me with how expensive Dawn itself is. I even saw someone in the tradepost with Dawn on their back and a full set of the top tier heavy seraph armor. I feel like I’m doing something wrong lol. Also, thanks for having this contest. I really admire that you were willing to do that. Anyways, here’s mine, on my guardian main with what my friends and I jokingly call “the boat paddle” sword. Good luck all =)
…For reasons undisclosed, I’m very sad (even depressed over it) over how the precursor market turned out…
But its not your responsibility to police it, that’s Arenanets job. They get paid for it, and very well too i hear. My advice is to sit on it for a while and not make any sudden decisions. And if depression is really kicking in then my advice is to STOP playing and take a break!
