I’ve been trying to figure this out but all my searches take me to “Master’s Training Manual” which I’m unable to find in game.

My class trainers don’t sell the Master’s Training Manual, rather they only sell individual traits which don’t allow me to continue spending trait points.

Once you hit the required level you should just be ready to roll without visiting anybody. No manuals any more as far as I know.

As of April 15th, the trait system no longer requires masters training manuals. They overhauled the trait system, if you’re level 30 now you start getting trait points around every 6 levels or something weird like that, and you have to unlock every trait you want to use, adept, master, and grandmaster. You can buy them from those class trainers, for gold and skill points, or complete a certain event or feat to unlock it on that character.

Thanks for the replies. I’m aware there were recent changes and I’m wondering if my character is bugged somehow, because it is still asking me to train for master traits when trying to spend my current trait point. My character is a level 43 necromancer and I’m trying to put my 3rd point in curses, but the “+” symbol is grayed out with a tool tip that says “You cannot spend anymore traits in this trait line until you receive training for Master traits”.

looks like you have to be level 60 to get to the master tier traits, when you can put your fourth point in. And level 80 to put in your sixth trait point in a line
