I have a bunch of “Shattered Lockpicks” that some bandits dropped.

They are a “trophy,” “soulbound,” and worth 18 copper.

What does “trophy” mean in this context?

And salvaging them or selling them on Black Lion doesn’t seem to be an available option, so how can I dispose of them?

Its a grey item, junk. You sell them to any merchant, including completed heart NPCs. When you talk to a merch, at the bottom is ‘sell junk’. That sells all hooves, broken lockpicks and other gray items.

They aren’t salvageable. What you can salvage is armor, weapons and anything labelled salvage.

Always check to see if you can sell to an NPC before destroying. You can make some nice change off of some of that ‘junk’ – no sense in wasting it if you can profit from it!
