So I crafted an exotic sword for scratch called Jormag’s breath. It takes 100 or sword-blades, 50 currupted lodestone, 50 skillpoints and 50 mystic coins, the last 2 was no problem for me, my main elementalist got over 200 (nothing im braging about) and the mystic coins was something i had 250 of. I made my sword in the mystic forge and then remeberd that it had the wrong stats so i quickly bought an exotic valkyre sword from the trading post. Btw after i bought the sword i had 7 s on me becouse i had to by 50 lodestones, when I had both of my swords ready in my elementalists inventory i used of those bluse stone thingies (don’t know the name on top of my head) and made Jormags breath that costed me 38 g and alot of Orichalcum farming to a sword with the right stats. I put it in my back then loged in to my thief that was going to have the sword and i couldent equip it becuse it was SOULBINDED to my elementalist that can’t even weild a sword.
Is there i way to make an soulbinded item in Gw2 to Accbinded ?
Please help but if there isent a way at least i hope someone learnd something from my stupid misstake-

You can make it accountbound two ways:

First way (transfers only the skin of the weapon)
1) Buy a white-quality sword from the Trading Post.
2) Use a Transmutation Crystal to transmute the white sword and Jormag’s Breath together. Pick the look of Jormag’s Breath and the stats of the white sword.
3) The sword should now be accountbound. Put it in your bank.
4) Pick up the transmuted sword on your thief and use another Transmutation Crystal to transmute the looks of the transmuted sword (which should have the looks of Jormag’s Breath) onto the stats of an exotic sword of your choice.

You should now have an exotic sword with stats of your choosing and the look of Jormag’s Breath. There is another way to accountbind, by following steps 1-3 and using a Transmutation Splitter instead of a second Transmutation Crystal on the transmuted sword, which will return the original item itself- however, this is only worthwhile on Ascended and Legendary items.

Get on your thief, and put Jormag’s Breath in his inventory, then find a sword with the stats you want, and Transmute Jormag’s Breath to that Sword, should reset the soulbinding
