Krytan Explorer - Stuck at 174/175
Scour that map, it has to be there. Also check the wiki or other websites that have everything listed (WPs, vistas, POI’s). Just go down the list and mark each one off you have if you have to.
Is it hidden? Or if you hover your mouse over the map where it shows you the map objectives (completed/total) for each zone, can you see which map is missing the PoI?
I found one obscure one after I leveled before I went hunting hard for my map completion – gosh I want to say in Bloodtide or Sparkfly. It didn’t appear on the map until after I got it. It was in a cave of sorts, was only able to get in there after kicking off an escort quest.
Oh all of my Krytan maps are at 100%. So its got to be one of those areas in white text that for whatever reason are not counted in world completion, but are counted for the krytan explorer achievement.
I have 174/175 (but completed the map) as well. Maybe there’s a jumping puzzle?
Got Hidden Ourobon and Ourobore Caves in the middle of the east edge of Harathi Hinterlands
Demongrub Pits in Queensdale?
Provernic Crypt and The Lawen Ponds in Gendarran Fields?
There are 3 areas in Bloodtide Coast that you can skip and still get world completion but the most likely one would be Momoztli Grounds in the north west unless you chose to study the hyleks as part of the personal story.
The wiki is probably the best place to check since it includes the border for each of the areas of the map so you can easily which area has no POI/heart/wp/sp in it.
A quote from a web page via a GOOGLE SEARCH.
“Hey all, for those looking for the last place to explore, I was stuck on 174/175 for ages! Until I found a door in the mountainside just above Lake Delavan, the door opened an area called Beggar’s Burrow, guarded by bandits. Hope this helps those looking for last part!”
Hope that helps.
The maps on the wiki are invaluable. I just got 3 I needed thanks to them. I had the map open, and alt-tabbed in and out to make sure I had all the white letter named areas, and got all mine within 30 mins.

I agree, once you know you have the things like Chantry of Secrets, it’s most likely a white named area that is eluding them. I had the same problem and used this approach months ago to solve it. Mine happened to be “Tail of the Serpent” in Timberline Falls.

I was missing tail of the serpent too so good thing i saw this! unfortunately its shiverpeaks no luck there.
Its got to be in either DR or LA. Just went through all of the explorable maps in the wiki, i do have all of them, and ive gotten chantry. Im 99% sure its not DR, that leaves LA. Hope its there.

Since you have the 100% map completion, the maps are largely opened up, have you tried like GH suggested and gone to ‘each’ area’s map in the wiki, zoomed in, then opened your mapped and zoomed to a level where you can read the names well, then just alt-tab back and forth sliding around the map matching up all the white names until you either confirm them all or find the missing ones, then methodically move on to the next map?
You don’t even have to go anywhere to do this, no need to run around the world, just a lot of alt-tabbing.
The best trick for e.g. krytan exploration (if you got 100% completion on the maps) is to look the maps (explorable zone or city) up on the wiki. Look for any area on the maps that hasn’t got a heart, skillpoint, PoI, Vista or Waypoint, and check out if it is named on your ingame map.
This is the way I got all but krytan explorer. This cause momoztli grounds in bloadtide coast is very late unfogged (behind the heart and PoI that are there).
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
