So the point of this thread is that i wanted to make an legendary for my girlfriend – but she doesnt know anything about it at all ( she doesnt know that i have 2 accounts this is the one that i use for gathering mats and stuff) I’m aiming for Kudzu and I wanted to ask if someone would be able to donate some materials to this account im using right now on this forum – im not begging im just asking if anyone could even 1 material could be so helpful – i wanted to manage to do it until her bday – which is the end of November, and i wanted to make her a gift in game and in real life ( i wont tell whats the irl gift :P)
So yeah – if anyone could be that generous i would be so happy!

As a woman who plays way too much GW2… If I had a boyfriend, I’d breakup with him if he got me a legendary. I mean, your hearts in the right place and maybe she’ll appreciate it, but… I’d say don’t. Spend time with her outside of the game, there’s already enough texting and socialnetworking that ruins our real life experiences as is. Don’t make your relationship a virtual one.

Good luck though and that’s just my two cents. I hope you two do well.

I understand you want to give your loved one a special present. But getting everything handed to one isn’t the best way. I suggest you buy her the precursor and dedicate time to farm the rest of the things together. Spending the time with her and letting her be a part of the process will make the legendary more meaningful.

EDIT: And be sure you know which legendary she prefers.

This guy thinks he can really make a legendary in 1 month….wow. I played 2 years and I still have not one. I am close, but still havn’t it ^^

Well, they don’t get much more legendary than Marilyn Monroe, but good luck getting her for a girlfriend!

Motoii: I recommend what Garambola said and give her the precursor. That’s much more exciting in my opinion- it opens an opportunity for her, a journey with an exciting goal. Being given a legendary without putting much effort into it is disappointing as she has skipped the exciting journey and all the hard-work. She’ll appreciate it less.

It also opens up opportunity to play with her when farming. You could also make your own legendary whilst she farms for hers so it’s a journey you can do together. Much more romantic and thoughtful than just giving her the end result.

I play the game with my boyfriend. I asked him what he thought of your scenario and we both agreed that a precursor would be better than a legendary.

Ok… I read the posts, and while I agree with the idea of giving her the precursor, you should erase all ideas of a legendary story for the rest of the mats (map completion aside) you will end up farming gold or mats together.

Side note: did anyone else read the title of this post and think “WTT legendary for girlfriend” ?…

The OP is asking for help, not to trade. I’m pretty sure that’s acceptable, though the thread should probably be in the Players Helping Players section.

If it’s at the end of November, you can easily farm enough gold to buy a precursor by then. Just run every dungeon path from every dungeon once a day, and then use the tokens to buy exotics and salvage them for rare runes/sigils/ectos. Very profitable.

It’s really sweet that you want to get a legendary for your girlfriend, but as other people have already mentioned – it only counts if you do it yourself. =)
