Hit level 80 and i’m still earning xp. is it doing anything for me at this point?

Every time the xp bar hits maximum at 80 you gain a skill point, so yes, it’s doing something for you.

You will earn one new skill point which can be spent in the mystic forge every time you “level” up.

Another thing is each time you “level up” you are fully healed. Which can be great at times if you have multiple mobs on you.
