I would really need help trying to figure this out. I got all named areas and such. Last 3 map completions went smooth. Now this one is maxed except for pois, which is 649/652.

have you taken the one inside instance in deadend cave? ( only asking since its not possible to see outside of said instance )

Other then that you have to check what maps your missing pois on

Have you got Claw Island, via your Personal Story?

Claw island doesn’t count for map completion – I have character with 100% without doing any personal story.

The usual suspect for 1 POI is the chantry of secrets. Another likely candidate are ones that have been added through living story since you reached 100% in that map, like The Dead End in Divinity’s Reach.

Your best bet is to mouse over each map, and it should tell you if there’s anything left to do.

I have similar problem.
99% world competition and 650/652 POI.
However I received my 2 Gifts of Exploration but not the achievement and title.
Is this a bug?

Might be bugged. I recently got a map completion for doing Rata Sum, and I still had one poi left to do.

I suggest you go to each map in turn. Have your pointer set at hide events and personal story and see if it points anything out. Go first to any maps you completed since this last patch. You’ve might have gotten map completions and still have poi left to do.

I went to each POI, checked all maps, disabled stuff, and even overlaid maps to mine. I am still clueless. All maps are 100%. I think I will contact support. Maybe they see what I don’t see.

Did the same and send a report at this point we can just leave it to the support

Actually, it needs to be filed. I just found the 3 poi’s. Most cities and areas for completion is bugging on poi gain. I found all mine in the grove. So Anet needs to look into why some people get map completion in cities while missing poi’s.

yes i already reconsider the grove since it has more than 5 poi in that map and i also checked my other characters with map completion and compared to the 1 im currently doing there is no difference the only thing is the 1 missing poi that wont register

ill give it one last stretch and hopefully get it , if not then ill just leave it to gw support im sure they’ll do something about it

The maps are not showing the correct number if POIs (less than the actual).
I found mine in some of the towns, mainly home instances even tho the map was showing 100%.
