Guild Wars 2

I’ve registered on Underworld as I saw its status was ‘Very High’. Though it doesn’t feel that way. I’m a newbie, don’t know a lot, and don’t have a lot to loose (I’ll have to delete my character, not enough gold to buy gems), so I guess it’s better that I act not, rather than regret later

If Underworld is active on the other hand, and I’m just unlucky, or too low leveled (lv20-ish) to see a lot of people, that would be very good to know too

The game’s very fun now, heck, has to be one of the best MMO’s out there so far, but it’s always more fun with other players, especially with the dynamic quests.

EDIT: Just noting that I’ve seen some threads about the subject, but they’re all 3+ months old, and players come and go, so I wanted an updated answer

I’ve never played on Underworld but I’m on Desolation and it always seems busy to me, I can’t remember ever being unable to find at least a few people in a zone and it’s not uncommon to be pushed into overflow for popular things (for the Invasion Events I was unable to ever get into the actual zone).

It’s predominantly an English-language, UK server which means peak times are evenings and weekends GMT time. But we have at least a few guilds for other languages and definitely some players from other parts of the world.

Other than that I know Gandara is also pretty active, I’ve guested there a few times and there were always a lot of people about and a lot of chatter. And according to Map Chat when I was there for Invasion Events Whiteside Ridge is mainly a WvW server, but I don’t know if that’s actually true.

I’m on desolation too and I’m yet to go anywhere and not see people (even some of the smaller jumping puzzles

Well I guested at Desolation, found a few people, reasonably low, considering I’m a charr.

Seams like I’ll transfer to Desolation in 3 days (Sadly, I still have that transfer penalty)
