Guild Wars 2

So I’ve been torn these past couple days about re-rolling from my thief. Now, I’ve been playing one since I’ve started this game like three years ago. All “QQ” aside, I am getting really frustrated/confused/depressed with this character and I think its time for a change.

Normally this isn’t a problem but I’ve invested A LOT of gold into this guy (crafting, gear) and if I change I dont wanna feel like i’ve wasted everything. I understand that I will lose the crafting but between ranger and engineer which do you think is a better pick so I can save all the ascended armor? Sorry if this seems jumbled I’m tired lol

Why not just create a new character? Especially if it’s 3 years old, don’t wanna miss that next bday gift lol, and that way if you ever wanna go back to em you can.

Yeah I will prolly keep him as my resident crafter, but I can’t settle on what to pick. Prolly stick to my necromancer since I LOVE them.

Nowadays, ascended armor isn’t an issue as you can simply change the stats in the MF. There’s still a cost in doing so but at least you don’t need to craft an entirely new set.

Don’t stress about losing anything because you wont. Just keep that thief for B-days, crafting, and storage. Put him to work by parking him at the end of a jp or rich node to farm each day while you play with another character. Like you say, if you pick another medium class, the characters can just share everything so you don’t have much work to do aside from leveling. If you decide to go with a light or heavy class, getting exotic armor is relatively easy and fast so no worries there either. Think of this as an opportunity to expand your gaming experience, good times!!

Excellent choice lol. I’ve got 5 necro’s all with different builds and love em all, there’s just so much they can do. <3

Well I’ve played and leveled other characters, so I’m not really running into this blind, however, I think that over time the thief has gotten weaker and weaker. I want to say that I’m a fairly good player as well so i highly doubt its a matter of learn to play, plus I had a real problem with how this whole deal with the thief’s elite spec. It really feels like they gutted the acrobatics line to make Daredevil. It REALLY feels that way. I love this game and I want to continue playing, just not this class. Lol.
