Playing more then one character question.
You can experience the other story lines if you party up with someone else and go do their story lines. So all you need is some friends.
You already know how to create another character. There’s not much we can tell you if you have attachment issues to your main.
Other than try to set a goal on your alts and attain it. Keep setting goals and getting them and after awhile you will become used to your alt. Your main will always be ‘there’ when you want a break.
My advice would be, if you really like your main, try an alt that has a similiar playstyle. I rolled an Engi first, and really enjoyed the playstyle. The CC’s, the Conditions, the survivability I felt like I had. So I rolled something similiar, and have a decent Ranger alt that fits those types of molds.
Also, the more I play sPvP and dungeons and see the benefits of the other classes that are outside of that playstyle, the more I am drawn toward trying something new. I also have goals I would like to achieve with my main first, like 100% map completion, finishing story quest that I want to do before I feel like I can devote much time to my alts. So if you are like me, you might need to “finish” (if that is even possible in a game like this,) your main before you start seriously playing some alts.
I advise you to play whichever one you feel like playing, when you feel like playing it. It’s not like the storyline will time out or anything if you drop it for a while.
Ok, thanks for the info guys. This really does help me think about going through the game. The whole reason why I asked is because most of my friends like playing a charr or a asuran.
Hey Seddrick,
i see much has been sad allready and that you somehow made up your mind. But on you’re last comment, you say that your friends like playing Charr or Asuran. That is great for them, but don’t let your choice being changed by what they like. Play what you want, when you want and how you want, that way you have the best time in this game (and many others).

Also, since you mentioned you’re attached to the warrior char, you could still play as a Charr or an Asuran — you could just be a Charr or Asuran warrior. Then you get to keep the playstyle you like while having the chance to experience the other races’ story lines.
