Welcome and allow me to start (although a bit aggressive) by saying that the usual griefers, whiners, haters and trolls lurking in forums, will not be finding a nesting place in here. I will actively go out of my way, to ensure that there will be no personal, emotional or any other kind of fulfillment for those belonging to these miserable groups of people.
And with that being said, back to the topic.
Like many others I too enjoy playing with multiple characters (8 to be exact). What I don’t enjoy is, spending an excessive amount of time to catch up with every new change that may or may not affect the builds I m using. Seeing as the “post your build” threads are rarely useful for a quick fix – I don’t know if I m kind or naive, to not say “never” – and nothing came up in google when I searched for this, I am asking “you” to help me put up a list that contains all the popular builds, for all professions, in all types of content.
As we make progress I will update the thread so that the builds remain on top for easy finding and viewing.
A few Protips:
- Refrain from attempts of advertising your personal builds. The target audience is people who wish to get straight answers “quickly”, not explore new, time consuming options. We like things that are on the surface
- No one is here to “get advice” on how to enjoy his past time based on your views of “what should be”. Being constructive is different from being an online “mom”.
- If you have a (link to the) full guide of the build, post it instead of “Trait Calculators”. Having the build explained is easier than searching for the missing pieces as you go play through.
- You can bookmark the page on your browser for an easy peek when you want an update. Stickies are about as rare as a three-legged elephant, so it’s better to be proactive than searching through a pool of a few thousands of threads in the future.
