Guild Wars 2

I made a Sinister Pearl Rod today on my warrior/artificer, with the intent of transferring it to my necro. But when I go into the bank, it says that the rod is soulbound to my necro? Did I mess something up somewhere? I thought the Sinister items were only account bound on creation. If it turns out I have to make the items on the charater that wants to use it, I will be very sad. Please help.

You probably put an upgrade into it …
