Power & Condition Damage question
Minister of Fear [80 Necromancer] @Far Shiverpeaks EU
Nope, I’m almost positive power doesn’t affect condition damage (I could be wrong though) +condition damage affects condition damage. The gear I’m using has power, precision and condition damage (as well as some survivability and toughness on my trinkets so I don’t die in one hit.)
Necromancers aren’t very good with direct damage. We heavily rely on conditions to get the job done. So condition damage (in my opinion at least) is the most important stat for us, followed by precision. If you put five points into the curses trait line you get barbed precision, which gives your critical hits a 66 percent chance to cause bleeding. So the more you crit, the more you apply bleeding and the more condition damage you do. Then power is just to boost your normal damage just a little bit. Power, in my opinion, isn’t very important though, and it should be viable to focus on toughness or vitality instead of power

nope. you might be thinking about either might boons (which do add power and condition damage) or possibly the fact that the curses trait line adds power and condition duration. i think curses adds condy damage.
Alright, thanks for the replies.
