Guild Wars 2

Hi all! Finally, today I bought the Guild Wars 2 and before play, I’d like a little guidance. I’ve been testing some professions during the weekend test, but I still have doubts about the decision to choose a profession. The best is try some more classes by myself, but can you give me advice those that you are more advanced with your professions.
In the spotlight I have to Mesmer, warrior and thief, from highest to lowest.

I like trolling, stun and play with the minds of the enemies, then mesmer would be ideal.
I don’t like to wear light armor. I have seen some very good light armor, but most are a bit ugly, so I prefer the medium and heavy.
I don’t like the support role. Therefore I would like to know if damage mesmer is viable. In terms of crowd control I have not had many chances to test how this role works, I guess It’s better than support, but still, I like to do DPS mainly, the mesmer, don’t do the same dps as the warrior, but he does it in a way or another.
I want to use a kind of Sword as my main weapon, greatsword or 1 hand sword with pistol or other sword. I’ve always liked the swords and I don’t not like staff and other weapons from mages.
For now Troll + Sword = perfect class for me, but can any good mesmer tell me if greatsword, sword + gun or two swords is viable. I want a sword as my main weapon and do damage.
I’ve been reading a bit about builds with swords and it says that it is viable, but a lot of people say that the berserker is bug and some have the sword as secondary weapon.

With all that I have said, which profession is for me?

I just gave your post a read and it’s sounding like Mesmers or Thieves. It really pains me to say this, but Thieves are masters of trickery, too cough WvW cough. Look them up on GW2 Wiki and find the trait line that best suits your interest. My main is a Guardian, so I don’t know much about it, but I’d pay special attention to their “Acrobatics” trait line if I were you.
