I made an elementalist for my pvp and decided to play support with lots of debuffs and healing and such with water attunment. It works very well, but my problem is this; why do I get such extremely low glory points? Now, i know what you’re thinking. “You must just be doing badly” is what you’re thinking. I would agree with you, but our team was getting literally half the points the other team was getting, and winning. I also understand that the trinity is supposedly gone, BUT, I’ve gotten really strong results from it. I also played a Necromancer and a ranger, both built to do pretty good damage, winning about half of my games, normal stuff. With my elementalist, I won almost every single one of them, and I didn’t just do the same server over and over, I like to server hop so the players stay fresh every time. Back to my point though, do you think the points you get playing a supportive roll in pvp gets you the right amount of points?

Glory is mainly about points kills dont mean anything, I played a game on my thief and basically went around the map picking off anyone who extended beyond their safe zone. I ended 34-2 but still had the second lowest score.

A lot of the points you get come not only from killing and capping control points, but defending (killing players on or near) them. Also, you get a crazy amount of points by using the environment (Trebuchet) and hitting enemies; each hit grants 5 points, I believe. Destroying the enemy Trebuchet and repairing your broken Trubechet is good too. Always be wary of what the map offers. I don’t recall all of the Map names but one has Beast Lords that you can kill for 25 points, another has a Base Lord near the spawn areas that give a lot of points too. In a sense, you get more points through team-first gameplay rather than trying to get your kill count up.
