Guild Wars 2

I was looking at the GW2Stuff website and noticed that they have a UI overlay. Is this safe to use in that it won’t get flagged as a illegal piece of third-party software?

Also, if I decide to run Shadow Behemoth with a lower-level alt (say mid-thirties) does my chances of getting a Precursor disappear? And does this stay the same for any of the Dragon Bosses?

The UI overlay is actually just a program that runs in the background and utilizes a feature known as “Stay on Top”. This is why it asks you to play GW2 in Windowed Borderless (or Windowed). If it was full-screen and still there, it would be a hack.

Essentially, running that program is like having chrome in the background (or on another moniter). There’s nothing they can or should do about it. It doesn’t provide an unfair advantage.

In answer to your other question you can’t get a precursor on a low level character.

If I remember correctly you have to be level 40+ to get any rares or exotics at all and the ones you do get are determined by your level. Since precursors are all level 80 weapons you need to be close to or at level 80 to have any chance of getting one.
