As a new player, I’m having trouble trying to understand the significance of the color-coding info given on the tooltips, particularly weapon and armor tooltips. Since I haven’t been able to find the answers elsewhere, I’m resorting to this post.

I get the significance of the color of the wep/armor names. What I don’t understand is the color-coding given to “weapon strength” and “defense”.

The numbers representing the wep strength can be white, red or green. Sometimes the white numbers are higher than the red or green. What is the info that those colors are intended to convey? I have the same question for “Defense”.

As for the wep/armor attributes (e.g., +5 power), I’ve seen various color combinations for the attribute number and the attribute name (number white/name white, green/white, red/white, green/green). I don’t understand the significance of this color-coding, assuming there is any significance.

I would greatly appreciate any clarification on these questions any of you might be able to give.

I assume you are talking of combinations when comparing two armor pieces? If so, then certainly:
red number with white text means you have the same stat on your armor, but the red version is lower, in the comparing window you have there a green number with white text, meaning the same stat is higher.
Green number with green text means you do not have that stat on your current armor.
example:

armor 1
+2 power
+1 prec

armor 2
+3 power
+2 tough

armor one would be displayed as +2(red) power (white) and +1 (green) precision (green)
