Guild Wars 2

So, background check, I had received Guild Wars 2 for Christmas. And in other MMOs I’ve never actually gotten a pet, mostly because it costs real-world money but mainly because it costs real-world money.

And I’ve been very impressed at GW2 that you can craft your own pet, and so the first pet that I would ever get/make in an MMO is so close to my grasp. Just clenching it.

The last thing I need for my pet would be 250 Wads of Enchanted Stuffing, which the lowest price on the trading post for 250 WoES (Calling that it) is around 2 gold. I belong to the server Henge of Denravi, character name Nightlokke. Surprised no one took that name.

I would be eternally grateful if I could craft my first pet, ever. Anyone willing to assist me? And I know, you can do Tixx’s instance and get the material, but no one seems to want to have me in their party. And the Wintersday is almost over…

Hello and welcome.
First off all, your talking bout a miniature and not bout a pet. A pet is an unofficial name but mostly used to descrive the animal companion of a ranger.

Secondly there are many other ways to get a miniature. They sell on the trade post and you can use gems to buy them at the gemstore (you can trade gold for gems to get enough gems).

Thirdly, a friendly warning. A good amount of the community is very friendly and helpfull, but don’t like people begging. I know this cause many guilds have this as a rule. I’m not saying to correct you but you also state that you have trouble getting in a party for the dungeons. This might has to do with the fact that your pretty new (not max level yet), but attitude is considered as well.

Last point is that, like you said, you jsut started playing this game. There will be another wintersday in a year. so keep those items stored and get the stuffing next year.

I’d run Tixx with you, but I am in Europe and not able to change servers for another 6 days anyway as I just moved to another to complete the WvWvW maps. I believe one can only run dungeons with people who are in the servers of the same region.

Tixx is not as wanted as it was at start, but there are people doing it. I got the groups for my ‘not max level’ characters without trouble. I did not just type LFG Tixx. I wrote something like “Let’s go have some fun in Tixx! Any class, any level welcome!” or in Rata Sum I actually asked for people to come help make a little Asura’s dream come true. The lowest lvl character I had the pleasure working with was 12 and he did just as well as the rest of us. Have confidence in yourself and speak up in mapchat. It is worth it!

If I wasn’t on a european server, I’d run the instances with you :/ Have you found a guild yet? And outside of guilds or posing the LFG in a creative way (excellent suggestion, Garambola), you can try http://www.gw2lfg.com, as that’s become popular among dungeon goers since the in-game lfg works floppily at best.

That said, I’m a native to the Henge. If you can catch me online (eveningsish) I’d be happy to help you run Tixx. Granted, it might disappear tonight, and I’ll be out on the town for new years. But just in case, look me up. We’ll see what we can do.
