What are you running GW2 on?
PC/Laptop: PC
CPU: i7 2600K 3.7 GHZ
GPU: 2x Nvidia GTX 580 (in SLI)
RAM: 16 GB corsaire vengeance
FPS: 45-60 (capped at 60)They really need driver support and optimizations. My machine is a beast and I get low framerates, even away from WvW.
Turn off SLI → enjoy!
Just ordered a new Clevo 17inch Laptop
Clevo Horize P170HM-SE Notebook PC
Intel I7-2630QM 2.0Ghz Processor Quad Core,
nVidia Geforce GTX560M 1.5GB GDDR5 Dedicated Graphics
16GB 1333Mhz RAM,
Crucial M4 128GB SSD 550/175 Mbs Read/Write,
500GB Hybrid Momentus XT
I’m hoping it’ll run the game on max settings, the GPU might be a bit of a bottleneck though so I’ll probably have to turn off supersampling.
Anyway, we’ll see when it arrives.

I’m on a laptop, an Asus N56VZ
Core i7-3610QM @ 2.30GHz
nVidia GT650M 2GB DDR3
8GB RAM
Running between 40-50 on auto-detect (medium settings) and around 30 with most things on high. With the latest NVIDIA drivers all of that upped by 10-15 FPS.

PC self built desktop:
i5 3570K 3.4 GHz
ASUS Maximus V GENE (Z77, GEN 3) motherboard
Corsair DDR3 1600Mhz PC12800 16GB Vengeance 1.5V CL8
Corsair Professional Series 850W
Asus GTX 670 DirectCU II Top x 2 in SLI
Coolermaster HAF 922 Full Tower Case 3 fans
Windows 7 Professional 64bit
Full eye candy on, haven’t checked FPS rates cos no issues, runs silky smooth.
You wouldn’t be surprised that it runs on my tower since it’s a very good rig, but may be surprised that it runs on the lap top I am using just now.
Ready for it?
Here goes.
Intel Celeron b820 1.7 x2
intel hd graphics 2gb
6gb ddr 3 ram.
Yes that cpu runs the game without being over clocked, I couldn’t believe it, game runs on low settings on this lappy at an average of 30-40 fps gets a bit hot but that can be countered, I was thinking about over clocking or upgrading the cpu if possible to run the game but it does so fine, I installed the game to test it out and totally expected the tell tale signs from start video’s and character select screen (ui lag etc) that it wouldn’t run properly or the game just flat out refusing to load because of system specs but nope, runs fine.
6gb ram and 2gb graphics help but by rights the game should laugh at that cpu and tell me not to be silly
Such a well crafted game, great job Arena Net.
CPU: Intel Core2Duo
OS: Lubuntu Linux 64-bit and Windows 7 Ultimate Edition 64-bit
RAM: 2GB DDR2 Kingston
GPU: nVIDIA 620 – using CUDA flag in GW2
Monitor: Samsung 20" 16:9 set to 1600×900 resolution
Mboard: ASUS
HDD: 1x 750GB; 1x 160GB; 1x 80GB, all Seagate Barracuda
I don’t use GW2 or nVIDIA’s FXAA or any AA settings. I use a different AA which is far better than FXAA, called SMAA.
Last but not the least, I get 20 FPS max settings; 30 FPS medium settings. But I play on low settings, with selected ones on medium. I like it that way, I’m not an eye-candy gamer.
