ok, so maybe i’m an old timer but I see this slangish term tossed about everywhere here on these forums but i’ve never run into to it during my time with LOTRO/SWTOR/RIFT.

‘kitten’ replaces any words not appropriate to the forums. weird as kitten, but funny too.

It’s a filter used on the forums to replace bad words. I wish they’d use it in game too, that would be hilarious.

It can happen at weird times too so you have to reread your post to look for kitten sometimes.

Yesterday I made a post with the word “more” next to “targets” and I think it thought I was trying to make the word arr eee tee ayy arr dee without the dee. I even had a space between the two words and it acted like they were connected, go figure. Made it pretty unintelligible so I had to edit it on re-reading and find some method of wording it without the kitten messing up both words and squeezing them together.
