Q:
What exactly does "Blind" do anyway?
A:
It makes their next attack miss, 100% chance.
In PvP, try to save these for when they’re setting up their big damage attack. Nothing like watching a Thief miss his heartseeker cause you blinded him right before he pulled it off
Legion of Anvil Rock [XXIV] – Anvil Rock
Makes them miss 100% and blacks out cornors of the screen making it annoying.
Mine tip usually says blinds for X secs will miss next attack. So my thought is that if during that X seconds they attack they will miss.
This is just an observation from my game play though
According to the wiki it makes their next attack miss.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
I was wondering about this as well, so when we use an ability with a 6s timer they only miss one attack? or all attacks during the 6s
Palix, only on the next attack, not for the full duration of the blind. Long duration is only useful because you can use it early anticipating the first attack (or in PvE, if the attack animation is long, throw it up there early and save your dodge for later)

Blind is also non-stackable so be aware of that…
It doesn’t seems to work on bosses, or atleast some bosses..
I put blind on them, but when they attack with blind, it doesn’t miss.

It only works against single target attacks. Most bosses use AOE attacks so it will miss the first person the AOE hits but then will hit everyone else in the AOE. So its effect is greatly diminished if you are facing an enemy that does mostly AOE.
When i was fighting some NPC’s one of them put a blind effect on me. It blacked out the edges of my screen like someone mentioned, but the NPC’s also disappeared from the screen briefly (cool effect i might add). I’m willing to bet that you get the same effect when you are doing pvp.
