Where do you you farm your gold for whatever it is you need gold for. I personally have been doing cof but you can only do that for so long and I dont know if thats the best or even close to the best thing to do.

I farm gold at the cash shop and the TP.

I have a nice little plot of land in the farms located in the Gendarran Fields were I plant my gold seeds and then harvest the gold from the crops once they’ve matured. Takes a lot of hard work and dedication but it’s worth it in the end.

I think Orr is much fertile soil for gold farming. Must be all that organic matter and deep-sea nutrients brought by the last uprising…
CoF also gives good harvests, maybe the heat helps those nice gold seed grow more shinny!

Never had the need to farm gold. I do level a bunch of alts, if you want to count that then the answer is “everywhere”. Most of my characters have around 40% world completion with 2 at 100%.

I hope you know that nobody will answer this question seriously because other people will move there too and Anet will release an emergency patch to nerf it within 2 days.

Most players seem to be farming cof. Never tried it but i heard friends make 10g an hr there depending on speed and drops

I don’t, I have no real use for gold anymore unless it’s to save for a legendary. All my characters have the best gear with the weapon/armor skins that I want.

I don’t because GW2 doesn’t require farming… snicker

I farm only dungeons.I like to do only instances in MMOs.
I have two speed running groups.One from friends farming AC,CoF,TA(9 paths) for gold.The 2nd group is made from guildies farming CoE(3 paths) for charged cores,Fotm and Arah(2 paths) for rares to sell ectos.
When my groups are bored we do the other 3 dungeons too.
I almost don’t go out of dungeons i like them.

Dungeons. Make 1+ gold a run at minimum. So I’m happy.

You can’t say “farm” here, that’s blasphemy.

If you don’t mind my asking – how would you bring new players into these for the first time? If they’re just starting they’re not going to be in Exotics, probably just Masterwork and a couple Rares.

Would starting in just low level Fractals (say 1-5) be enough to bootstrap someone?

Does that mean the AC loot would scale up to a lvl 80?

Yes. I’ve gotten one of the named exotics from AC.
