I’m just wondering what, if anything, is being done about the WvW queues. I purchased the game specifically for the WvW aspect, and with current IRL restraints I only have a couple of hours that I am able to play each night after work. On my server (Jade Quarry) during peak prime-time hours it may take anywhere between 1-3 hours to get into WvW if at all.

So my question is, has anything been said by ANET about potentially increasing the number of players that will be allowed into WvW at any given moment? I read through the most recent update and didn’t see anything.

Just trying to figure out if my guild needs to consider a server move.

You can always queue up for one of the other WvW control maps.

Thanks… I do that. I queue for every single one of them.

It would be great if we could queue for the first available Map rather than only one at a time.

In my opinion. if you are wanting to be just WvW then move to another server. I am currently on Maguuma and we do okay at WvW and there is only like a 2 minute queue to enter any of the WvW maps. This is just a suggestion as you said you will have to move your whole guild across.

Like Erauntien said, you should probably look into moving to another server. I believe jade quarry is one of the highest population servers, and in this early stage of the game you are literally queuing with just about everyone else on the server.

What upsets me is watching my server losing points while I can’t go there and help. Might be some afkers and stuff.
It takes me more than 5 hours waiting and most the times I just give up and go do something else.

Jade Quarry is packed with competitive PvPers. So if all you want is to join WvW, it’s going to have a long queue, with myself and my friends in it as well! And yes we wait 1-2 hours ourselves, and then play for 4-5 (8-10 during weekends? lol).

Answer: Yes, probably need to move servers to be able to play with your limited time frame.
