I took a couple weeks off from playing GW2 and came back with a question. On the main user interface that you see while you’re walking around, fighting, whatever, I would have sworn there was a box that showed the current completion of whatever zone I’m in without having to go to the map. So if I’m in Lion’s Arch, I see that I’m missing a hero point or a vista without opening the map.

Am I crazy? Was that there and now it’s not? Did I hit a button to make it go away? Most importantly, can I get it back?

TIA

The map completion information is only on the main map screen from pressing M or whatever key you set it to. If you are near a heart then information about it would be displayed in the top right as well.

You may be thinking of the Content Guide, the little arrow in the top right corner which points you towards new things to do. If you’d don’t have an active story chapter and there are no events going on currently (or if you’ve set it to not show those things) it will point you towards unexplored areas or missing map completion points.

Other than that I don’t think there’s ever been something that showed your progress without opening the map.

Thank you, guys! Apparently crazy is the consensus. Or maybe just wishful thinking.
