Guild Wars 2

Trying to do my daily achivements and came across this one.. went lions arch, took part in the daily for the day which turned out to be that hunt and survive game, got a fair score going before getting sniped… and nothing.

I’ve run it six times now; and not got anything on the achivement..

Anyone else having this?

I have not, but then I just hopped into Choir Bell for a round of music and profitable gifts. As soon as the scoreboard popped up I had the daily done.

You can go there if Southsun Survival is failing to proc the daily for some reason.

Fair enough, I actually like doing the bells event! So, will do that

Actually, at least one Wintersday event counts, maybe more.

Following someone else’s lead in this thread, I joined the bell choir, got in after the “play anything you like” finished (and the farmers had left), and waited ~20 seconds. I got credit for daily activity, as soon as the scoreboard popped, even though I hadn’t reached the stage (let alone played a single note).

All activities should work for getting Activity Participation. Both festival / seasonal ones and the ones on the rotation in Lion’s Arch.

You do always need to stay until the final score pops up at the end of the match no matter which activity you’re doing, though, as some have said. That’s what triggers the daily to complete. You actually don’t need to do anything in the activity itself as long as you’re there when it “finishes”. But you can’t die / leave before that even if you were there the entire game participating, either.

Good point. I never tag Daily Activity to watch but I did get an unexpected reward last night when I did BC for the first time, and the BC wasn’t one of the dailies either.
