from Culturel armors. So guys year is 2015 this game almost 3 years old but we cant salvage kittenn culturel armors to get back runes ? I just crafted 3 pieces of ascended armors. Because of this ive to buy again runes ? This bullkitten is just for to sell upgrade extractor ? How genius is that !!?!? I blame colin

Why would you put good runes inside the cultural armor (which is of rare quality)? Plus, since you can sell back cultural armor for a good chunk of money, you’d usually end up just losing money if you could salvage it.

You do know you can use the skin without using the armor item itself, right? There’s a wardrobe. Once you unlock a skin, it’s there to be used (by using transmutation charges) for any character that is eligible to use it.

The the problem is where you put the skin, if you add the cultural skin in a salvageble armor you can still salvage it.

Yeah. Both karma items and wvw items cannot be salvaged.

Cultural armor is certainly salvagable…..I bought about 5 sets (T1 and T2) this weekend and Salvaged them seconds later. OPs issue is the same old Karma/Badge purchased items as everyone else.

The runes you added to the armor is gone, you won’t be able to remove them, currently there are no rune so expensive that it is worth to buy the extractor, so yeah, it is cheaper to buy a new set of runes and apply the skin to the new armor.

And yes, it will consume 6 more charges.

You know that salvaging an armor will destroy the armor right?
Even if you could salvage ascended gear, what kind of runes are you using to even think in such a thing?
