Shattered Strength does not currently gain any benefit from Illusionary Persona (another big part of the shatter build). Is this new since the last patch or an old problem? Unless I wasn’t paying attention. I think its new as the four charges were part of gaining the 25 might stacks beforehand.
Its cool… You guys took our might but we will give you more vuln to tick you off even more… Thiefs need nerfed too stealth just needs removed from the game completely So we can fight them…. So do guardians that many buffs at once for that long JUST NOT FAIR! Ele mist form and tornado AND ride the lightning… TOTALLY OP lets nerf that too. Rangers pets can knock you down and poison you plus the Longbow is THE LONGEST range weapon in the game… Just not cool okay. Engineer kit swaps have like 0 cool down as well I call for a standard cool down between those swaps immediately lest they be too versatile in fights. Wait necros have death shroud fear and can pull up minions that do MORE damage than our clones and follow the necro around out of battle. PREPOSTEROUS! And lets not for get the god kitten kittening WARRIORS! 100Blades can do 28k damage now I don’t even think a single profession in this game can get to that! Wow totally needs nerfed into oblivion. All these classes need these changes for balance.

LOL… well if you look at other posts people (including me) have gotten rather ticked. So I was just trying to make a point while keeping some (i thought) humor in it… On subject though I hope everyone got the point.

On topic, kitten – won’t be able to forcebug the 14k mind wracks and blame the game while people scream for exploit. 1/4 of a second is really nothing, minor change that will affect only the bug.
Funny thing, Anet didn’t fix the bug, they just made it impossible to execute. Always better to add something new instead of fixing the old kitten.
I think it’s a temporary bandaid until they can actually figure out what the problem is.
It seems they can’t identify what is causing it,so they added a preventing measure.
Better than doing nothing imo.We have a winner! This was an especially bad problem so we did what we had to do given the resources we had to solve this while the studio was closed for the new year/holidays.

My problem is that we still haven’t had any sort of hotfix for people who abuse the bugs with stealth. My thief can stay invis for nearly the entire fight. My revealed debuff may as well not exist as I’m usually still invis for as long as it lasts. I’m just wondering why if this is the policy for strong bugs nothing has been done to resolve this issue with stealth in months?

Because .25s is enough time to be reacted to. Puts it on par with Thief/Warrior.
Lets add .25s between all thief skills shall we?

Wat? Do you think revealed should be triggered when stealth time runs out? The revealed effect was only added to stop thieves from spamming their #1 stealthskill too fast.

Yes in the last patch, Anet failed to mention that they removed the extra Might stack that you would have gotten if you had 30 points in Illusionary Persona. Now you can only get a max of three stacks of Might if you have 3 illusions out. Pretty weak imo.

Your mw would hit harder if you went 15 points into the first trait line, its really easy to get 3 clones up and use f3 to Daze AND put 23~ stacks of vuln while simultaneously mindwracking with about 500+ more damage per clone.
Thats cool you do this semi-faceroll wanna be thing to make mesmers look kitten but you are just making yourself look bad.

waow.. logged my mesmer again. and the 0.25 feels like 0.1 second or something, its barely notice able. i think its totally fine
It is very noticeable at times. For example, if you use a Shatter then Distortion right after you can avoid a possible downing by a backstab thief. The .25 sec got me downed the other night because I could not Distortion fast enough.
Also, why the nerf to Illusionary Persona? If we have this 30 point trait and act as our own 4th shatter, we should get a 4th stack of Might like it was pre-patch.
Over-nerfed class is over-nerfed.

This is more of an issue in WvW Vs. sPvP but kinda yes (some one linked this post in another thread).
Due to rendering/culling issues it needs to make the thief visible after their stealth ends for the full revealed time. Right now it’s not… therefore it should be lengthened so that it’s doing its job. This has been a problem for a long time and has no fix.
I’m fine with my theif/other thieves being able to stack stealth times if that’s what you were asking though…
