They only ones who truly bother me as Asura are warriors. Part of the whole class is highly telegraphed animations and on Asura you essentially remove this. It simply is a crutch, nothing more. People know that it is hundred times more difficult to see the animations and half the time what weapon set they have out. Some people like to play with crutches and some don’t.

This is what needs to happen, to all the rats.

It’s just as bad to watch a PvP match full of Asura on a stream as it is to play it. All it looks like is particle effects and ability spam.

Anet is too prideful to fix this stuff. They’ve got sand where the sun don’t shine.

Dude post like this dont help Anet have acknowledge there is an issue and they have made us aware they they are looking into it.

The thing is, they are too prideful. Anet gets angry when players criticize them. Many of their actions over the past 2 years have basically said “the customer is wrong, we did a good job. It’s just that people suck, not us”. Where would this game be without the successful GW1? An mmo having no end-game pve, and “action based” pvp with little to no animations or even basic cast bars? It’s gw1 that allowed this game to sell and gain a community.

How long did it take to respond to the awful condition/tanky meta? Months. Anet makes millions on the game but they’ve just said “oh well, we don’t have the time/money/resources/other excuses to fix things”. Even necessary things like seeing your enemy’s actions(remember it’s supposed to be “action based”) are incredibly hard(impossible against asura) sometimes. Your OWN damage numbers can cover other players, how is this an issue in an action based game?(or at least one hoping to become successful)

this is pretty much why GW2 has flopped big time when it comes to e-sports lol.
I don’t think some of you realize how low the amount of viewers on twitch gw2 gets for these type of events….quite embarassing and it will NEVER make a blip on e-sports radar unless anet actually says enough is enough, lets actually focus on the PvP side of this game and make it better.

Right now, eh, anet is prolly saying “we believe pvp is in a good spot, we will just continue to monitor and update tool tips, thanks”
