Is there such a thing as casual PvP teams?

I’m looking for people to team up with for some PvP. Capable people but not necessarily rank 80 hardcore gamers.

Do more casual PvP teams exist? I’ve yet to find any, am I missing something?

I host a weekly 5v5 tournament that is open to casual PvP teams (actually…we encourage it..) and “free agents”, or solo queuers, which may help you find a team. Look for my stickied post in the PvP section titled “Academy Gaming”.

GASM is probably as casual as youll get.

Sadly the casual teams was ruined by the implementation of solo que system a long time ago.
Takes time for people to get out of the “don’t play with anyone else, just solo que it” type mindset.

This game needs something to make people want to team again. It use to be tournament tickets, that to play in tournament you needed a ticket and you’d be stupid to waste it trying to solo que it, so you’d look for teams. Also, it felt pretty awesome to do tournaments back then. Now its just the norm, no special feeling anymore.

I liked the PvP atmosphere back in the tournament ticket days.

Best advice for you though, join a 490+ guild and try stir up some people to play PvP. That’s what I did like 5 months ago, and had 2 people dedicated to it and like 3 people on/off about pvp. You get guild comms too, one of the currencies I value in this game.

aye, this is what my friends did.

eventually we have a large pool of casual pvp players.

we have no problem getting together 5 to queue during the december-january test season.
