Where can i find final stream\video? Yesterday i wasnt home :/

Can anyone post the top two teams class/build comps? I can’t watch the video here at work, but i’m curious what the winning teams looked like.

out of the 4 teams that got to the semi final, [TCG] was the only team that deserved to win the tournament.
TCG has tage, without doubt the best guardian in game.
Sizer the best 1v1 thief in game

danshee because he plays ele!

the reason that the other 3 teams didn’t have a chance and didn’t deserve to win:
[ELE] they play 8 hours a day and they are still not on TCG level.
[CC] 3 of the players didn’t play since pax [7 months] we didn’t even deserve to be in the semi finals.
Destructive influence – they had frae, he is bad because he 1 shotted me.

That’s only because elementalists tend to be better players since they’ve had to deal with being the underdog and still deal with complicated mechanics and rotations. All that a necro, warrior or thief ever does 80% of the time is auto attack and dodge…. or run away.

Lol. The Celestial Cantrip Bunker Ele that people have been running is indeed quite faceroll and easy to play. There’s honestly no more skill to playing it than any other average build.

Easy to play? Yea vs bads maybe. High caliber play requires a lot more thought and skill. Try to faceroll ele vs a good team and I guarantee you won’t have a fun time.

helseth is the best mesmer outside there, the only mesmer who is on his own level is supcutie but not sure he was on that tourney.

fact are 2:
1)common mesmers in tourney had gs\staff shatter build and that’s always been helseth setup
2)sensotix rerolled thief for months

lol you really didn’t get the sarcasm, i said that because sensotix quit mesmer and started thief, I already know that helseth is probably 5x better than misha and never really played with cutie so I can’t comment but he is probably the best mesmer in NA.

Didn’t watch it but not surprised TCG won if their roster was as such. The finals being close are a surprise but finals are always close because teams play conservatively as the games matter more. IMO Hellseth is actually the best player in the game, or the best person I have seen play when he streams, where his clicks are quick and his reactions are quick and smart. So you take cheese modes best players and add them to the best player and not really a surprise they won. GG to blu for organising and putting the time in.

I wouldn’t waste (much) time watching video games on the internet when I could be doing other stuff. But the fact people watched this tournament can only be a good thing for the game, espically as balance/meta is way more skill based than previously.

Edit: Also nice that the best two teams were kept apart till the end. Always helps a tournament to look good

After I heard that [TCG] RECKED [ELE] 500-60 in team queue I knew that TCG would just destroy any team in the semi final, and that is exactly what happened to [CC] AND [ELE].
TCG deserved to win the tournament and they are clearly way more skilled. Now stop whining please.

ELE were a strong opponent to TCG and the finals were really entertaining to watch.

TCG kept taking ELE’s mesmer out of the fights really quickly but the same did not go the other way around. TCG’s thief was nearly untouchable w/so many evades and outlasted ELE’s thief every time. TCG’s guardian did a better job of preventing damage to allies rather than just healing it.

From my simple-minded point of view those are the 3 (biggest) factors that gave TCG the upper hand on ELE. Despite those, there were a few times ELE made strong pushes for comebacks and it almost seemed like when they got behind they stepped up their game a notch, and had they been on that level throughout the entirety of each match they could have pulled it off maybe?

In my opinion, I would say Helseth is the weaker player of the team. I think Tage is the player that impresses me the most in GW2. Rom & Sizer (as S/D) are great players as well. I don’t know Denshee’s play that well so I can’t say much there.

It was pretty obvious that TCG were going to win.

TCG knows how to kill ppl but they cant defend their own points.
55hp just lose because of their useless ranger.
And Helseth is a good player but there are better players, even as mesmer.

Tage and Rom are definetly more skilled than helseth, but helseth is probably the best mesmer in game at the moment, it’s just that not many players play mesmer and most of the players who do are really bad.

Helseth’s one of the best mechanical players in the game, his decision making is sometimes very sloppy though. Denshee’s probably the best multi class player in the game. Tage is a god, not really much more to be said there. The core of TCG is one of the strongest 3 mans you could make. I could still 1v3 them though np.

TCG may have player better, but the characters of 55HP most definitely had better looks.

Gj anet for balancing the game the last huge patch was the best! In my opinion rune of str is overbuffed fix that thing and this game is ready for Esports thing!
