George Santayana is who originally said it I believe but Schmendrick The Magician (in pic) also said it in “The Last Unicorn” movie, a 1982 animation film with Christopher Lee. He said a lot of deep stuff randomly but until now I had no idea some might be actual quotes.

Also just realized that there is someone with the username Schmendrick The Magician he was quoting, ironic coincidence.

Absolutely, because what’s really important here is not having a balanced game, but pulling down our pants and taking a big kitten on the class that was dominating other classes with a build of broken mechanics in the previous 3 months by performing “game balance” and creating a new build of broken mechanics for a different class to use for the next 3 months.

Ya exactly. I’d prefer them to balance. But if it had to happen to a class, I guess I would have chosen ele too.

Ele don’t need redesign. Just celestial. Elementalist – it’s all about celestial, cuz we need some hp (with our hp pool), some thougness (cuz light armor) and some healing power (cuz heal – core defense of ele).
Now, w/o tough+vit+heal, with boon rip on every skill from necro… Bye-bye ele.
Just bring back celestial for elementalist only – it’s quick and easy fix.

Ridiculous how Anet constantly ignore that the ele class needs HUGE redesign to ever feel as viable and versatile as other classes nowadays do.
