Wrong. The answer is anyone who’s a good point defender. If you roam far and hold the point all match, wining 1v1’s and even 1v2’s, that build carries the team. I’ve done it numerous times on a burn guardian. I’ve seen it done with a hamwar and turret engi. Rarely will I see it with bunk classes. Bunk classes rely heavily on your team for additional support. If you have a bad team, a bunker can only do so much.

Sad truth is that in most of cases even, if you gonna play superb it will not help cause these people that are currently queuing for case of reward tracks and the final reward, are below the worse imagination.

You are misinformed on what a bunker is. (I know not burn Guard) but hambow and turret engi’s are bunkers… Bunker Guard needs team support the most out of all bunk builds (not best choice to hold far solo). Turret engi and Hambow could work in the lower lvls of PvP due to all their CC and knockdowns. But as I stated before the best “all around” carry build would be an Ele. This is due to enemy team comp always different making the “best” carry class vary from each map. Ele could do a general job at carrying (with random teams on both sides) than probably any class. Since you can’t switch out without dishonor, that WOULD be your best bet.

Between engie and ele, engie does a better job at holding far point vs. multiple people between all the CCs, traited gear shield, and overall kiting ability. Ele is arguably stronger in a broader range of 1v1 matchups (you won’t get hardcountered by necros, usually), but the class relies on healing for survival, which doesn’t scale as well in outnumbered fights. Eles also get wrecked by chain CC, since they need to constantly be casting spells to benefit from signet of restoration.

Ive found I can carry most soloqs (I was like 60-15) on meditation guard and thats a pretty easy class to learn

My picks would be ele, thief and engi.

A well played thief makes everything easy as they can kill extremely fast. Most theives do not have great map awareness nor do they use every skill to its max. When they do they are just devastating to pretty much every class. The few times I have faced well known semi-pro theives they just devastated the other team all on their own. Most theives though are average.

A good engi can cause another team fits. Can anyone 1v1 them besides a theif. And they even have supply crate to drive off a thief. Even an average one is quite annoying.

Another contender is Ele. And despite everyone’s whinging, I am going to go with Staff Ele. I know no one will agree but a well played staff ele, who really knows his class, just dominates. They cover the entire point with CC and damage. They are just awesome when played well.

Isn’t it funny, the 3 classes I think can carry a team are all classes that either don’t have to deal with cooldowns (thief) or have extra skills. I think that says a lot about exactly why they are so powerful and so often played. You could make all the other classes better by adding some skills and not necessarily nerfing anyone.

Honestly it may not be the easiest learning curve, but a decent thief can honestly carry a whole game. They have so much mobility in which allows them to decap run back to mid and one hit someone then quickly go to another point and cause havoc. The key to a solo queue thief is to never overstay your welcome in a fight, because you could be somewhere else +1’ing.

I tried a dual-pistol glass/stealth thief that could hit 12-15k in 10 secs that I would use to help team fights. I would also throw poison/weakness on mid fights. Then I’d be off to cap something open.

Yes, as a thief you shouldn’t be 1v1’ing tbh unless you are 100% confident you can kill them quickly. It’s a waste of your mobility.
