I leveled most of my characters to 80 using the tombs of knowledge, so i geared them with the cheapest (crafted) exotics. When i hopped into WvW from the Heart of the Mists yesterday i realized i had a first world tpvp problem.

This wont be a problem soon , any gear acquired can be used anywhere so tough it out for a bit

I mean I’m like at rank 11 or so, and I don’t play PvP much. However, even if I would be at like 30 or 40… I think I still wouldn’t care enough to actually wear anything else than my standard outfit in PvP (the one you have from the start). After all, there’s no time to look at armor and weapons anyway while fighting… so why would I want to look super-awesome?

I usually wouldn’t ever be able to tell how my opponents looked like at the end of a match. After all, they don’t really stand still so I can look at them… they usually attack me and I need to fight back. And GW2 isn’t very static when it comes to fighting. ^^

Nothing strikes fear in the heart of a “Silver Knight” like my pearl weapons. I’m pretty sure their /laugh’s are actually just thinly veiled attempts to hide their jealousy.

What does Alpha team mean? Is it the testing team for the release versions of China/Korea?

Dyes are a problem, they should realy be account wide.

Think about it. Every 30-60min a day im customizing my looks, so that I look good when stomping, Im not farming gold and not causing inflation.

My main feels alive, then theres the 4x grey female asuras -.-

Character-bound dyes are really the main reason I’m not making any more than 2 characters. Yes I care about looks! No way in hell I’m going through the gold cost of buying white/black/etc dyes on any more characters, doing it twice was crazy enough.

Gotta do more PvE Rand. It’s an ingenious method employed by Anet to get PvPers to PvE.
