How can this game ever be esports if you get lag in spvp? 10 people on a map should be doable for the servers its not a wvwblob.

Umm…check your connection. I have never once experienced lag in an sPvP game and I’ve been playing since beta.

P.s. Yes, this is the internet, but you don’t have to be a jerk to report a technical issue.

This really is solely due to your internet connection. I have never once experienced lqg in game except for once which was yesterday. BUT my team speak was lagging as well so it obviously wasn’t due to the game.

I got no problem in any other online game and in spvp the lag just started with the last patch for me. So why should it be my provider with which i got no problems since 5 years and only got problems in gw2 now?

Since the last patch I randomly get player model rubberbanding. This doesn’t happen often but when it does it can be game breaking. Mostly its the skill lag I’m getting on my engineer when using big ol bomb and bomb kit. I have to spam big ol bomb to get it to work.

Always around 11AM PST time I get skill lag. I cast a skill and it stays flashing sometimes forever. Other times it goes off after a few seconds. Really frustrating. And it’s not my connection as other people were experiencing the same thing.

Since the last patch I’ve had problems with lag as well. Only in sPvP. Continuous .5s to 1s lag every ~10s, and the occasional (every 10-20min) disconnect. After a frustrating hour of this, I left PvP and did my fractal dailies. No problems whatsoever. I then went to WvW, and even took part in a few zerg v. zerg battles- no problems there either. I checked my internet speed- 50mbps download, 40mbps upload. It’s something specific to sPvP.
