Great Idea on how to balance warriors
1. The hammer is fine
3. Healing Signet. I actually think it’s fine.
5. Berserkers Stance. Remove the immunity to conditions, reduce the recharge to 30 seconds, for 10 seconds, the Warrior moves 100% faster and stun duration reduced by 50%. For added fun, each time the Warrior is stunned, it gains might.
A fun utility and not one designed to counter the current meta?! What is this I don’t even-You aren’t an elementalist, you are disguised warrior, aren’t you?
Hammer isn’t nearly fine. Sure you have some evades and stun breaks, but if you are caught in combo – you are just dead instanly. IWIN button shich you must struggle against? This isn’t pve, warriors aren’t bosses, this isn’t nearly fine.
Surely you can outdamage healing signet if you areglasspaper fresh air and warrior is afk. Otherwise running in circles is kinda enough to survive ele.
You vision of bers stance is just horrifying. Nope, big solid NOPE.
I have NEVER lost a 1v1 against a Warrior on my Elementalist. The only time I lost was when stun duration was bugged about 2 metas ago. Otherwise, I’ve never lost 1v1 against a Warrior, the supposed top tier class on the lowest tier class, simple as that.
Meanwhile Engineers, Rangers and Necromancers are running rampant with OP skills and traits as their stuff requires more skill in spamming.
Since when Engineers applying 45 seconds of poison balanced? My favorite is 20 seconds of chilled. At this rate we’ll never leave the condi meta.
Also, no good Elementalist will ever use Fresh Air, I am utterly ashamed a build actually exists with that worthless, trash trait.
I hate to say it, over damaging Healing Signet is more on player skill. It doesn’t help that the Warrior can abuse immunities with it for it’s passive to trigger more, nerf the immunities and the skill passive isn’t much of an issue.
It’s just a noob stomper, that’s all it is.
My version of berserkers stance is fine, in my opinion being immune to conditions for 8 seconds is more powerful, any sort of hard counter is bad and some strange reason developers always make one and it always ends badly (I’m looking at you Kassadin).

There’s a reason why top tier teams are running warriors, sometimes double warrior over ele. Your idea for berserker’s stance is terrible. And if you’ve never lost a 1v1 to warrior, you are fighting noobs.
I can contest to Nova Striker. To those saying HS can outheal an Ele, they are out of their kitten minds. Merely placing one AOE on the circle will force me off and I run pure rabid. The damage ticks are between 1/4 to 1/3 of my health every time I get hit with it. I don’t know what these Eles are running, but they can literally stand outside of the circle from a distance, aoe the circle and just force me off the point if my EP is off CD. I’m likely to have a good chance against one in a 1v1 since I can kill them fast too, but when they’re aoeing the circle and I’m trying to keep a point from decapping, there isn’t much I can do except leave the point and engage on them. And they’re rather amazing in team fights since I’m pre-occupied while they’re bursting me down from a safe distance.

I’m not seeing you come up with ideas for changes to the Stances.
Spuke is in my Guild, number 40 on the solo leader boards. Guess what? I can beat him 1v1 on his Warrior. Ironically his Ranger can beat me with so much condition damage from the freaking Axe and Torch.
The only reason why I’m not rocking in the leaderboards is I am boycotting it until the condi-meta ends and Skyhammer is removed from solo queue.
Until then, never lost and I’ll happily to prove it to anyone. I’ll stomp any Warrior, just leave your condi-Necros/Rangers and especially Engineers at home. I might be nice and give a handicap, see if you can beat my armor-less Elementalist.
When it comes to knowing the problem with Warriors, I may not see all the problems but I know what the core issues are:
- Hammer is far from OP with it’s damage. What helps the Hammer is the Longbows insane snare with bleeding to cover immobilize. If you want to nerf the hammer, nerf Pin Down.
- Healing Signet is not OP. What makes it too powerful is utilities that help Healing Signet ticks longer like Berserkers Stance and Endure Pain. Being granted full immunity is bad to begin with. If you want to nerf Healing Signet, the god-mode utilities has to go.
- The only nerf to hammer should be Fierce Blow, once again, it helps Healing Signet tick more when you are only dealing half damage. Combined with so much condition removal/denial, you have to rely on power and being stuck dealing half is GG
Warriors are overpowered, they are used in every pro team and for good reason, they have great condition removal, tankiness, CC and damage all wrapped up in a single build.

However, you can nerf the Hammers damage or Healing Signet. But in my opinion that is pointless and harmful as your nerfing 1 of the 3 healing options as well as an entire weapon type; when you can just nerf what helps the problem.
Nerf the small things that adds to the big issue. Then it won’t be a big issue.
You’re biggest worry is ArenaNet not seeing that and nerfing the class over and over and over.
R.I.P. Ride the Lightning, Bountiful Power and Cleansing Wave. If ArenaNet only understood that Water Magic and Arcana wasn’t overpowered, it’s just every other trait-line sucks with boring/useless traits…
