Hard time for new pvp war player
Warriors can be kitten in pvp. Did u just start pvp-ing ?
Maybe u should change your game stile for pvp and gear combination.
If u get down to fast maybe try a bit more stamina/healt. A good
way may be equipping at leas one ranged weapon. Preferingly a riffle because
they are good 1v1. What weapons traits do u play ?
i playing with duel axe and sword horn
If you want to take advise from someone on the forum regarding pvp, I suggest to always take a look at gw2score.com/PvP if they actually have a clue. Therefore: Please don’t take a rifle -.-
Current Warrior Build from Karsaib (Top EU Warrior from Team 55HP Monks): http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?fJAQJASTjMd0FaZIWhwJagqgCdFEAPg6eoxzhUbAA-TpBCwAAeAAaOCAUuAAx2fQcZgLHCAA
The build is taken from twitch.tv/maylox
Primoridal (S1) & Exalted (S2) & Illustrious (S3) Legend
So if your inexpierenced go tanky also axe offhand is really a PVE weapon.
geez, HAMBOING again, there are some other interesting builds, way more fun to play and viable : here is one of iam currently playing : http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fJAQNApeRjMdU2ZVIGewJaAlgCdHcBjwxGIAUmFjOA-TpBCwAOOEAAeAAYOBAhLDw4IA8f/BA
Actually playing these runes cause they re wicked, once they get nerfed i ll go back to strenght runes i guess, or something similar.
The build suits really well the meta, and you ll can for sure beats necros and mesmer with that one ( whith ease ) but dont think about taking an ingi on 1v1 cause they re way to strong now since that new meta.
Also, you have alot of condi removal, so can can put in teh build some modification ( like taking a passive stab instead of condi clean on F1, or passive endure pain, your call.
The build is about “time bursting” every time you get a stun ( 100% crit on 100b <3 ), also the build is rly tanky ( mace shield ) and most of the time a burst on a stun allows you to defeat your opponent ( depending on if he has break stun or not )or put an insane preassure, plus great sword gives ya the hell of a mobility.
Hope you ll like it, have a nice try.
Mesmer is always hard to fight as a new player.
Try to find the real one. They usally have boons & move different than the clones.
But they dont have many good “floor skills”. You probably mean ground targeted skills.
A new build is not likely going to solve all your problems – playing against other players is always going to require some time put in for practice to get a feel for how the game works in that environment. So just expect to get beat up quite a bit for a while until you start getting used to things and then you will start to improve. Build is important, but this is much more important at least in my opinion.
Keep playing, eventually you’ll get used to it.
I remember when I first started PvP, I kept getting so frustrated because a Warrior using Axe/Shield with full zerk build, eviscerate and CC utilities kept managing to hit me upwards of 7k.
Now that I’ve played SPvP for a while, I know to break out of stuns, dodge Eviscerate etc etc.
You’ll get better as time goes on.
Yeah, don’t give up till you get better!
For sure new builds won’t solve all his problems, but it helps a lot when starting a new class. Testing different builds tell you more about the class and his potentials/mechanisms.
Here’s a axe/mace + sword/shield build, that I find really fun to play.
when you have your 5 on mace, try always to place the combo 4,2,1+F1 ; it’s a nice burst.
Use 4 of the shield, which is a stun, and switch to axe, to be sure to place the above combo or just F1 when your adrenaline bar is full.
Switch on shield, if the target is under 50%hp, and do the combo 4,3 or 2,4,3 (better manually do auto-attack, disable your 1(AA) by ctrl+right click, to be sure to crit 3 of the sword with “sigil of intelligence”.
Feel free to switch on shield to use 5 whenever you feel that you are getting burst.
Use 2 of sword, to get in melee whenever you are distanced by your target.
Using Berserker Stance + Balanced Stance guarantees you immunity to all controls, so it’s advised to use them when you rush into multiple enemies with huge controls, but care at the end of the stances, helps against Engi and Necros.
Use Endure Pain absorb direct damages, really useful against power Mesmers.
You can change the trait II in Arms by I, V or VI, as you like.
You can change the trait VIII in Discipline by VII to you a second chance for you duels with revenge or by X if you are against or getting heavy immobilization.
Hope, it will help you and good luck!

The AI damage is currently out of line, therefore you will get hit extra hard by those professions (e.g. mesmers). There already is an official statement on this by a dev.
For starters, I would recommend MM necros, as they are very easy to play decently.
PvP has a steep learning curve, so you might lose quite a lot at the beginning.
That is absolutey normal though and nothing you should be worried about.
You should also have a thick skin, as people tend to get rather emotional during or after matches.
