How to counter quickness!!
Sounds legit if it did work that way. Hopefully there’s no hidden mechanics that put Quickness into priority.
I think reactive invulnerability mitigation abilities are already some of the best counters to quickness. Anyone would pick an invulnerability over a chill since with chill you’re still eating up some damage at a speed of 200% x 1/3 = 66.667% according to your suggestion.
Yes, their abilities would still be hasted, but not to the degree it used to be.
Also, it would affect normal attack speed as well, not just quickness.
I figured that it would end the OMG reliance of quickness, or make it more tactical to use other than 7,8,2 BAM your dead, kinda thing.
ANd not everyone has reactive invuls, or retaliation or such.
I’d love for a counter too quickness.
I’ve played through all classes and I refuse to use quickness yet when Thiefs n Warriors kill me they usually make a comment stating “L2P nub!” my reply usually consist of them dying cause Quickness is on cooldown. xD
But yeah it’s getting bloody annoying specially in tPvP where I’m seeing teams like “War, Engi, Mesmer, Thief, Ranger” all classes with Quickness which is kinda silly stacking quickness that is… Oooh well I’ma have joy in the fact that usually they can’t play without quickness.
