I don’t want to be and shouldn’t be on team with scumbags like this legendary guy that cheesed his way up the division but has experience/skill of a pve hero that never touched pvp. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. Prevent people from queueing ranked with players > 1 divisions below them, reset MMR at BEGIN of the season and ACTUALLY BANN PLAYERS FOR MMR TANKING. Thanks.

I’ve said the same in my topic about Sunday solo pvp.

What i say is Diamond players should be:med-high/high skilled and Legendary players high skilled. Diamond and Legendary should show that you have skills for pvp in a good System. Whats the point of that system that solo skilled peoples stuck at maximum Diamond or maybe some of them get Legendary with luck. While every low skilled and also pve player get Legendary with abusing system etc.

The vial of salt should be renamed ; “Tears of thieves”.

The whole system is a joke. The sad thing is whatever the fixes end up being they will be totally inadequate. The main excuses will be we can’t have casual players stuck in the first couple of leagues and people need to be able to group with there friends. I can honestly say the average level of play I have experience has not budged any at all from league 1 to 60% through Diamond where I am currently am. Nor has the competitiveness of the matches increased which are 50% blow outs in either direction win or loss in my experience. I have won 3 pips against what I would consider trash players and lost multiple pips against what I would consider much better competition. The whole thing is utterly broken because of alt accounts and smurfing and MMRs not being reset.

The system is terrible. I got matched with a diamond thief that legit had no idea what he was doing, first time playing the class and using signet of malice. He even had 29k AP so it was depressing as hell losing pips because I had an idiot thief on the team.

Way too many PvE heros, PvP leagues need to be SKILL/MMR based and not this trash, games are lopsided and unenjoyable even at diamond.

Maybe the guy was trying out a new class, what means he had low ,,class mmr"? I remember devs once mentioned there exists such a thing.

Exploiting of the system at its best. And when such people are called on it, their usual excuse is that they play with guild mates and just want to -have fun-. No, they don’t want to increase their legendary standing, they want to have fun. Well they are free to have their fun with their guildmates in unranked as far as I am concerned. Playing ranked like this is pure exploit and nothing else. The fact that such exploits exist is why I dont respect ANYONE in legendary these days. Yes, many probably got there using skills and are good players, but the sheer amount of such kittens in legendary makes me want to point and accuse a legendary of how good an exploiters they are, instead of go and congratulate them on their achievement. I never understood how anyone would feel proud of achieving legendary rank in this way. I know I wouldn’t if I knew how I got there.

This whole thing, this whole league has been nothing, but a poison for the pvp community and it’s time to drop off and vanish after this season imo. It was a nice experiment from Anet, but it didnt work out. Time to let it die.

I have no problem with the match making i just wish we didnt lose PiPs when we are clearly had no real chance of winning.

Also i know its my fault im the reason we didnt win any even number fights By the way our split was 2-2-1 and theres was 2-3-0 so i got the free cap at home and went to mid.

Before those guys i had to play these guys right before. I really find match making odd. Why didnt they have them play each other…………………………..

and this is why no one takes the legendary title seriously. Most are just cheesers.

Simple way to tell: Do you know the person, or have you seen them on a really good team? Yes? They deserve it. Otherwise, they are most likely a cheeser.

There are a lot of peoples with Legendary title by now that i’ve never ever seen in my pvp life and i only doing pvp. Probably they are abusing system or free accounts or doing some win trade afk things maybe at nights when most people sleep. probably but not sure.

I have absolutely not problem with the match making. Ive just gotten to the point of what is this league system for?

For instance ive been queing in unranked for play builds ive been just seeing what they might be able to do and i saw muffins 1 match. Next match trackful and then after that a 3 man apex team (though i think 1 was from the ESL team).

Im been stuck in diamond tier 3 for awhile and im just wondering why being im in diamond. I see some of these other diamond players and im like, really?

Yet it feels like every other match im the only diamond with a bunch of rubys against all diamond team or on a diamond team against 3-4 legendarys.

The PiP system is just very frustrating though i enjoy the match ups even if there 1 sided.

Because the individual is grouped with someone of a lower rank you assume he did so all the way to Legendary?

Or are you upset that, that is allowed to happen?

The only thing im upset about is seeing someone who has the legendary rank/title when i beat them in a 1 vs 1 and when we were in a 2 vs 2 i beat them there too. When i will most likely not get to legendary rank.

Really its only because i want the symbol. So call it what you want.

The queues are so long already they can’t do what you’re asking for else you ould wait 1 hour before every match.

Legendary rank doesnt mean they are better players its just something to show off Real PvPers will know you from your characters name if you are a good player. You notice it when you getting hard focused by other good players and people follow you with very hard focus till you die. they want to kill you as much they forget about you kite them away from points and because they know you cause the most threat and kill everyone if they don’t stop you.

I don’t care about Legendary if the system worked better i mean if the Diamond have med-high/high skill players Legendary have high skill players only. i will still be about Diamond without any team or groups which is already done in this bad system.

Actually i dont know how they got to legendary and obviously i dont deserve anything without earning it.

It just becomes frustrating for me on different levels.

1- facing legendary premades left and right. Or being asked to carry rubies when we face all diamond team.

2- The PiP system, whether a person dc or facing elite level teams as solos and losing 1-2 pips. Today i lost 2 pips and my team had 2 thieves. This just adds on to many factors.

There are more things but ultimately the forum is where i come to complain. Some times i have a point and sometimes i dont. Im just expressing a frustration im currently having, heck yesterday i went to unranked for 2-3 matches and i saw muffins who was in a duo que i think and trackful.

Im seriously sitting here going Pro Players are following in uranked too!!!!!

The one and only effective fix I see is to force everyone to solo queue for tournaments. Unfortunately ANET has this weird thing of believing that teams are the Holy Grail and everyone wants to team. I miss GW1 and STO style with my npc krewe.

Are you aware that the only competitive mode (with prizes etc.) of GW1 was GvG, which was ONLY for 8 players premade teams?
