Ingame team speak
You just demonstrated you could type it; you ctrl + link Shadow Refuge skill to the team chat. If they don’t understand that and see where you are on map; they defo won’t understand you saying it either
I’m sorry, I just don’t see an ingame team speak solving anything… pug teams hardly ever managed to type out anything on team chat, and I can only imagine it’s because of language issues, so how then will having 5 players possibly speaking different languages shout crap at each other make it any better?
It’d be a next to unused feature, imho. I think TS/Mumble/etc. remains a privilege to coordinated, premade teams.

Yes +1 for in game voip.
Everyone who is against it has no solid reasons. Communication is the foundation of any competitive game/sport.

Have you never had any issues communicating with your team? I think it’s pretty shortsighted so dismiss something because you personally don’t see it solving anything. Let me direct you to another thread where we have discussed the pros / cons of it.

I think pugs don’t type in chat because of the disadvantage of typing in a fast paced game + you never know if your message was seen/read. When on VOIP you can speak to someone directly and if they answer they heard you, if they didn’t then you can assume they didn’t.

Indeed TS/Mumble/etc. VOIP programs do help people coordinate.
