If you were ranked 50 on the leaderboards but haven’t played in a month and you dropped down to 23%, would your next tourney be matched up with players in the percentile or people around your non decayed rank range?

The system will think you are rank 50 still even though your number on leaderboard decays, so win or lose you will probably be rank 40 or rank 50-60 respectively when it updates (assuming you played).
