Is anyone having trouble getting past ruby?
Solo que is a gamble and the MMR system is designed to keep you at a 50/50 win rate.
The real issue is totally unfair loses. I have no problem having 6 loses believing my team did a good job, or because we hardly could do better. However, most matchs on legacy of foefire are really frustrating. Lord rushs you cannot prevent, impossible to come back, setups you cannot beat or outplay,..
This map is for sure 50/50 designed. Other maps are way more tactical, and you can have bigger ratios
premade = weight in the glicko system. It will attempt to balance the match by giving your opponents better teammates. I never had any problem vs any of the premades I have faced so far.
Bots / Afkers / Ragekids will happen in any other game. I still stand on players losing division / tier in any division. They should probably add more pips to each division and design them so when you do cross a division you start at 10% pips and if you lose a division you start at 60% into it.
fun fact: when i played with 3-5 man premade we had a lot of close matches
when i play solo or duo: it is mostly very lopsided matches (regardless in which side favor)
