Make Invuls pause condition damage ticks

hello all! literally my first ever post/thread but how many times have any of you played something like ele with mist form or engi with invul elixir or mesmer using distortion and fought a condi build that was beating you down to 25% hp and you poped your invul to buy time only to see burn + 10 stacks of bleed tick away and killing you anyway?
now let me be clear, i mainly play condi builds, be it condi engi, mes, necro or even war a while back, i love em, its my jam.
with that said, i think it makes no sense AT ALL for conditions to tick while being invul, its unfair that someone might use an invul just to buy a couple seconds so their heal can come back up but die to ticks anyway, from someone not even attacking you anymore
what i suggest is that using an invul (war stances do not count) PAUSES dmg ticks from condis, and have the duration of said condis still tick down
example: i have 10 seconds of burn on me, i use a 3 seconds invul (say mist form) for those 3 seconds burn shouldnt do dmg to me and when im out theres 7 seconds of burn left, not 10 (keep it ticking just, no dmg)
it would give invuls alot more play, another example is how many times have you run to res someone and right before you got there some engi bombed you with all his condis in 2 seconds but you poped invul as you got to the target and started ressing while invul but your hp was still being eaten away?
think about it and let me know what you think! my opinion is there is ZERO reason it shouldnt already be like this
