Rotating “faster” isn’t enough. Logging on and knowing we’re going to play the same map over and over is boring and demoralizing. Doing even two days in a row of the same map is absurd.

This is true even when the current map is one of my favorites. After a few games it gets so samey. Even hot join has map rotation.

There are so many easy solutions to this I’m not even going to list them. We all know what they are. First QPs got dropped as a concept, then 3 round went away and now leaderboards got pushed again even though they announced it as a feature of the March patch.

We’re going the wrong direction and it’s painfully obvious they don’t care.

Same its so lame. Kills this game more than anything else for me.

Fractals of the Mists has map randomness since their launch in November and they also have a few random elements inside the map.

I guess they send the interns to do the programming for PVP, while the real programmers are doing the PVE.

No map rotation is also gamebreaking for me. But it’s not even on the top of priorities.

i imagine their dev meeting went like this

J Sharp: “hey guys in every other mmo with pvp you can queue for whatever map you want, but lets be different and force people to play the same maps over and over!”

E Lesh: “great idea!”

i tried logging in today and played like 5 games then got bored

i dont mind it. but i like doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over again.

Have they stated why they don’t rotate? I mean I love khylo… but 4 or 5 matches and yawn…

Honestly, I only want to play Temple or Spirit Watch anyway. Completely random rotation in tournaments would suck for me, at least now I can play when I want and avoid the ones I don’t like.

And you can queue for anything you want in hotjoin..

Yeah I just want to play Spirit Watch, why is there no mode for just 1 map

I guess now we want map Random selection.

I wish i could play on Spirit Watch all day it’s my fav map.

I hope we will be able to host tournaments and pick the maps we want to play on once custom arenas are in… ill be on Spirit Watch all the time !
